Assist the head women's volleyball coach in all areas of coaching a competitive Division I collegiate volleyball program. This position’s responsibilities could include, but not limited to: Assisting the head women's volleyball coach in all areas of coaching, Assist strength coach for weight training and conditioning practices, Recruit quality prospective student-athletes, Game preparation, Practice/game management, Analyze game film, Scouting opponents, Academic supervision of student-athletes, Monitoring of social media for student athletes, Assisting with fundraising and community service, Advising/mentoring as appropriate, Assist with volleyball camps/clinics, Other organizational and administrative duties as assigned by the head coach
Must have effective professional working relationship with student-athletes, staff, administration, alumni and general public
Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and computer skills
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize
Ability to teach and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Must have a commitment to NCAA compliance and follow all NCAA, conference and UND rules and regulations
Must have commitment to academic success of student-athletes
Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student athletes including having a valid driver's license
2 years coaching at the college level (junior college, NAIA, Division I or II)
2 years recruiting experience at the 4 year college level (junior college, NAIA, Division I or II)
Valid Driver's License
Successful completion of a criminal records background check
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Head or assistant coaching experience at the junior college or 4 year college level
Experience coordinating volleyball camps
Experience with scouting, film and processing data
