Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking an Assistant Coach (Part-Time) whose primary responsibilities will be to assist the Head Coach in overseeing, organizing and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III softball program, with the primary emphasis being in oversight and development of pitchers.
The pitching coach will be an important member of our coaching staff and work to develop our pitchers in the following ways:
- Participates and helps plan and lead practices, with primary emphasis on developing the pitching staff.
- Have the ability to complete workouts and training plans for pitchers throughout the season and for the off-season.
- Mentor and encourage student-athletes and team success while also completing all other duties assigned as desired to grow as a coach.
Bachelor’s degree required. Successful collegiate coaching and/or playing experience required. Excellent communication and organizational skills and commitment to the Division III philosophy of athletics as well as knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations.
