The Coordinator of Facilities will assist the Assistant AD for Event Management & Director of Facilities with the coordination of assigned home athletic contests, internal facility needs, and the coordination scheduling, special events, game management, and vendor interactions, security and custodial auditing. Flexible nights and weekends/ holidays as needed to facilitate the appropriate support and coverage.
This position is a term limited appointment not to exceed one year.
One year of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included athletics administrative support for a project, program, or operation.
Administrative support includes those duties beyond security/maintenance/clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
One year of post secondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the professional experience.
Student-athlete or Graduate assistant experience can count or qualify.

The employee in this position will often be required to (lift/carry/push/push/pull) objects weighing 40 pounds.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position.
Master’s Degree: Preferred
The employee must be able to lead multiple vendors, staff and partners to provide clear planning and communication to all services providers as appropriate for each event and or planning phases of the athletic calendar. This person should act as a liaison with police, risk management, equipment operations and the external arm, other on campus agencies.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with experience.
