Assurance Senior Associate, Private Client Services - Japanese Business Network, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Provide guidance on the wide array of business, accounting and tax matters faced by private Japanese companies throughout business lifecycle. Utilize a flexible, tailored audit and tax compliance process that reflects the risk profiles of private company clients and incorporates a pricing structure appropriate to those risks. Communicate with Japanese companies and clients on tax and audit issues. Ask questions, test assumptions, and provide assurance that clients are reporting information on which investors and others can rely. Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or a related field, plus 1 year of related work experience.
Must have an active CPA or CIA license, or foreign equivalent.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
Working with common issues facing non-publicly traded companies in the manufacturing, distribution and services industry, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives and/or exit strategies;
Identifying and assessing risks; and
Leveraging Private Company Services (PCS) industry experience.
Travel up to 20% required.
