Position Description: Assists the head coach in all facets of the softball program to ensure a quality program and successful Division I team. Assumes responsibility for at least two of the following softball program operations: scouting, recruiting coordination, community relations, scheduling, academic supervision, camps and clinics. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience as a Division I softball student-athlete. 2+ years of experience as an NCAA Softball Head Coach or Assistant Coach. Familiarity with recruiting NE Ohio. Bachelor’s degree. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications: Progressively responsible experience in practice and game day coaching, recruiting, scheduling, academic support and camps/clinics.
