The Graduate Student Assistant Graphic Designer of the Athletic Department is to provide unique and innovative visual content for Patriot Athletics and each individual sports team.
The Graduate Student Assistant Graphic Designer of the Athletic Department should be a person devoted to Christ-centered championship athletics possessing skills commensurate with the job. The employee should possess skills and characteristics such as: sharp attention to detail, efficient time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, excellent in both online and print design, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc).
Tuition support towards a graduate degree and monthly stipend.
The Graduate Student Assistant Graphic Designer will be a graduate student who will work 25-40 hours per week with some variations to the normal working hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with an occasional need to work evenings and Saturdays. Any time beyond the 25 hours will be compensated.
The Graduate Student Assistant Graphic Designer is to:
Uphold university and department standard of excellence in all areas.
Create visual content for the Athletic Department and all its sports teams.
Support the sales, marketing, communications, and digital needs of the department through the construction, delivery, and design of creative elements.
Orchestrate traditional and digital ads, social media/website/broadcast graphics and elements, e-mail templates, social media templates, and brochures for the athletic department and its sports teams.
Collaborate with other members of communications, digital and visual staffs as well as other departments of Patriot Athletics to support them in achieving their goals.
Work with outside graphic and print vendors when necessary.
Provide strong professionalism in internal and external situations.
Other projects assigned by the Assistant AD for Media Relations or the Director of Athletics.
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be pursuing a master’s degree at Dallas Baptist University
