Carthage College, a member of the NCAA DIII and the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, is seeking to fill an Assistant Track & Field Coach/Equipment Room Operations position. This position supports all aspects of the competitive intercollegiate program, including coaching and teaching technique for the sprints, jumps, and hurdle events, and recruitment of qualified student-athletes. The assistant coach position will support ensuring the program is in compliance with NCAA, Conference, and Carthage College rules and regulations, in addition to supporting the head coaches in establishing appropriate competitive and developmental goals and objectives for program. This position will also oversee the athletic equipment room and laundry operations.

Requires education generally equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail are required.
Master's degree or progress towards an advanced degree and previous experience working in a college or university athletics department is highly desired.
National certification in strength and conditioning preferred.
Experience with sprints, jumps, and/or hurdle events is preferred.
