The Director of Development for Individual and Major Gifts is part of the Howard Hospital Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Development and Alumni Relations team, and the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine. The Howard Hospital Foundation's purpose is to provide philanthropic support to Howard County General Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. The position reports to the Vice President of Development of the HHF, and is responsible for identification, cultivation and solicitation of individual major gifts, principal gifts, and planned gifts in accordance with the philosophy, mission and strategic plans of Howard County General Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine. This position works in close collaboration with the Foundation board members, senior hospital staff, physicians and outside key contacts.
Bachelor’s degree required and 7 years of related experience required
