Under the direction of the Head Coach for Swimming and Diving, the Director of Operations executes all operational matters relating to the swimming program, the student athletes and the coaching staff. The position will serve as a liason for all fundraising related to Swimming, coordinate efforts with UT Swimming Alumni and work thoroughly with all other institutional departments.
The director of Swimming Operations will assist the Head Coaches in monitoring the budgets for the Swimming program. Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, SEC, and TItle IX. The position will handle daily operating functions within the program, assist with the summer camps, assist on campus recruiting events, manage team gear and apparel purchasing orders, serve as a point of contact for housing for the swimmers and divers and fulfill procurement card holder policy and procedures. Additionally, will be responsible for organizing, budgeting and coordinating team travel.
Finally, the Director of Swimming Operations will also serve to assist the facility director by acting in their stead when they are away. The position will attend weekly operations meeting and coaching meetings.
Coordinate all aspects of team travel to include planning, transportation, meals, itineraries and expenses
Assist in the coordination of all aspects of recruiting to include planning, transportation, meals, itineraries, expenses and compliance paperwork.
Coordinate and order all apparel and equipment for the team.
Assist with UT swimming Camps
Serve as a point person for all housing for Swimming Assist in the monitoring of the swimming budget
Fulfill Procurement Card Holder Responsibilities
Manage and organize all team calendars and drives
Assist with the operations of the facility. Qualifications Requirements:
