The College of Staten Island, pending acceptance to NCAA Division II as a member of the East Coast Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Women’s Basketball (part-time). Candidates should possess good organizational, interpersonal communication and basic computer skills. Responsibilities include assisting in the administration, supervision and management for the Women’s Basketball Program. Duties include, but are not limited to, instruction during training & practice, scouting & video analysis, team travel and a strong focus on recruitment. Responsibilities to also include camps, clinics and fundraising initiatives.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of collegiate or high school basketball coaching or four years of playing experience, with preference given to collegiate coaching experience.
This part-time position carries a salary of $4,000
