Elon University is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Communications for Athletics. The Assistant Director of Communications for Athletics will work under the supervision of the Director of Athletics Communications and Creative Services to assist with the coverage of Elon University’s 17 Division I sports. This position is responsible for assisting with the strategic communications and comprehensive public relations for Elon Athletics and the department’s 17 NCAA Division I varsity sport programs. Serve as the primary liaison to the media for assigned teams, to be determined in conjunction with the Director of Athletics Communications and Creative Services, and ensure the timely dissemination of accurate information, social media posts, pregame and post-game digital content, press releases, results and statistics.
