St. Olaf College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for the full-time position of Head Men's Hockey Coach. The 12-month position is responsible for the overall of management of the men's hockey program.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to actively recruit and retain qualified student-athletes, oversee assistant coaches, organize and administer practice and game strategies, schedule meets, manage budgets, oversee administrative functions and coordinate alumni outreach efforts.
The program competes and practices in the St. Olaf Ice Arena, an $8 million on-campus facility the college opened in January.
- Superior hockey knowledge. - Must be highly organized and able to meet deadlines. - Ability to manage/communicate effectively with student-athletes, administrators and student work staff members. - Knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and MIAC regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred.
