The University of South Carolina Aiken, an NCAA Division II Institution, is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director/Compliance Coordinator. The position manages and performs all aspects and responsibilities for a 10-sport NCAA DII athletic department. The successful candidate will compile and communicate necessary information and records for admissions, records office and financial aid office for all prospective student-athletes and maintains accurate and up-to-date records related to compliance with NCAA, Peach Belt Conference and University rules and regulations. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating education of rules by staff and student-athletes including preparing written information about compliance, performs needed research and data collection to answer questions related to compliance and coordinates department use of Front Rush.
Bachelor’s degree and four years NCAA experience is required. The selected candidate should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in commonly used technological processes such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, NCAA LSDBi, and NCAA CA. With appropriate credentials, this position may also be designated as the SWA and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee advisor.
