St. Ambrose University invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Volleyball Coach, a full-time, 12-month position. Responsibilities include all aspects of the operation of the University’s intercollegiate nationally NAIA recognized men’s volleyball program. Other duties within the Athletic Department will be assigned according to qualifications/experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred; successful collegiate volleyball coaching experience preferred. Demonstrated success in scouting, talent assessment and recruitment of qualified student-athletes; monitoring of academic progress of team members, knowledge of and commitment to compliance with NAIA rules, fund-raising and promotion of the volleyball programs within the community. Candidates must be committed to a philosophy that emphasizes the health, welfare and academic success of student-athletes, as well as the importance of good citizenship both on and off the playing field.
