The Tufts Women’s Basketball program has established a tradition of excellence and a history of success both nationally and in the NESCAC. Recent program milestones include a streak of six-straight NCAA Elite Eight appearances, including four consecutive trips to the Final Four (2014-17) and two national championship games (2016 and 2017). The Jumbos won NESCAC titles in 2014, 2015 and 2019 and have made a total of 11 NCAA appearances.
The assistant coach assists the Head Coach in all aspects of running an NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball program by educating and coaching student-athletes, recruiting highly selective prospective student-athletes, developing and implementing practice sessions and game plans, and supporting student-athletes in their personal, academic and athletic growth and development at Tufts.
Bachelor’s degree and previous collegiate athletic experience.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to develop and relate to student-athletes in an extremely competitive academic environment.
Dedication to the full academic, athletic and social development of student-athletes.
Commitment to gender equity, rules compliance, diversity and inclusion and the mission of Tufts University.
Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel.
Prior experience coaching at the collegiate level.
