The Assistant Director of Compliance Services serves as a member of the Office of Compliance Services (OCS) and reports to the Associate Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director. This position works in conjunction with OCS staff to implement NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to, to providing interpretative assistance to coaches, administrators, student-athletes, and representatives of the university and develops and/or implements rules education curriculum to provide effective updates on relevant legislation for administrators, student-athletes, and representatives of the university; developing and and/or implementing monitoring systems to ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina regulations. This position will:
•Serve as individual charged with implementing and executing several monitoring systems to ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina regulations. Assist with audits of monitoring systems throughout the academic year.
•Oversee a comprehensive educational program relative to NCAA, SEC, and University of South Carolina rules and regulations including but not limited to: conduct an ongoing evaluation of programming for effectiveness and efficiency, identify and implement initiatives for enhancing educational efforts.
•Serve as sport liaison from the Office of Compliance Services to several assigned sports.

Master’s degree and 1 year related program experience or a bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience. Prefer experience in a compliance setting at an institutional, conference or national association level.
