RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with all aspects of coaching women’s basketball; assist with program and practice planning and organization; recruitment of prospective student-athletes; fundraising activities; and all else pertaining to the women’s basketball team.
Bachelor’s degree required. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping. Demonstrates a knowledge of, an interest in, or experience working with diverse cultures and populations including students, parents, coaches, faculty, staff and administrators. Demonstrated ability to recruit and experience with coaching basketball. Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules.

Lake Bemidji State Park and its miles of navigable trails is located directly across the lake from BSU, and the Buena Vista Ski Area — just 12 miles north of campus — offers downhill skiing and BSU-sponsored student transportation in the winter months. Further, the Mississippi River Headwaters is a mere 45 minutes from Bemidji.
