Tax Manager, ITS (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Assist multi-national businesses achieve their business goals in a tax-efficient manner, and address their cross-border tax needs. Stay current on developments within the international tax arena that may affect a client’s business, both globally and locally. Oversee teams in formulating effective and tax-efficient cross-border strategies for both US and overseas investments, while managing the global structural tax rate. Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities. Manage engagement teams, provide coaching and feedback in a timely manner. Manage resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collections.
Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise. Establish and maintain client relationships. Develop a market presence.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
Assisting companies to understand and assess the international tax impact of company business, operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions;
Providing corporate tax services including tax research, compliance and consulting within an international taxation environment;
Conducting structural realignment, cash and financial statement effective tax rate analysis and improvement of tax efficiencies of cross-border flows; and
Must have prior experience working in a public accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company.
Travel up to 20% is required.
