Penn State Athletics - Assistant Director of Compliance
The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director - Athletics Compliance within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Office of Ethics and Compliance. This full-time administrative position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and assist with the daily operations of the Athletics Compliance Office. The Assistant Director - Athletics Compliance oversees institutional monitoring systems, donation and community service requests and departmental use of JumpForward. The position assists with the comprehensive rules education program, interpretation of NCAA and Big Ten Conference Rules, violations, investigations, petitions, complimentary admissions, student-athlete career insurance and other duties as assigned. Salary is commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants should have experience working in a Division I compliance operation and a Bachelor's Degree. A Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in the areas of technology, presentation skills and professional writing. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
