The University of Missouri, a Division I institution and proud member of the SEC is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach - Diving. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position reporting to the Head Coach - Swimming & Diving. Primary coaching responsibilities will include the successful identification, evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes, monitoring the conditioning and training of student-athletes in conjunction with the strength and conditioning coaches and athletic training staff, and assisting with the planning and administration of the off-season training program. Additionally, this position will assist with the development of schedules for practice and competitions, coordinate team travel arrangements, assist with budget preparation, counsel team members in academic and personal matters, advise student-athletes regarding their obligations to comply with all rules and regulations related to financial aid and eligibility and assist the Head Coach with day-to-day administrative duties as well as other responsibilities as assigned by the Head Swimming Coach. Bachelor's degree required;Master's degree preferred; a minimum of at least three years previous college or club coaching experience is required. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is necessary.
