Responsible for live game online broadcasts and creative video for the Murray State Athletics department. The position is responsible for managing and producing all live video streaming of MSU home games to ESPN+, including organizing crew and talent. Recruit interested MSU students to be involved in all broadcasts. Directly involved with the marketing efforts of the athletics department including social media videos, into videos and graphics. The position will have management duties for GoRacers.com athletics website and for MSU Athletics social media channels.
Responsibilities & Duties •Successfully complete all tasks related to Murray State Athletics in live streaming of games and events to ESPN+. •Meet all OVC guidelines related to broadcasts on ESPN+. •Serve as producer and director of all ESPN+ broadcasts. •Maintain an effective working knowledge of all equipment related to job assignment. •Responsible for equipment maintenance, inventory and purchases. •Coordinate and provide all staffing necessary for productions including the approval of time cards of working crew members. •Maintain an effective knowledge of fiber system and video board operations. •Charged with creating original content with consistent messaging on all platforms. Including planning and editing of game highlight packages and coaches/player interviews/press conferences for GoRacers.com and social media channels. •Create graphics and animations for LED tables and video boards. Assist with game day/event production on video boards. •Create unique videos and graphics to be used in all social media channels and video boards including intro videos for basketball and football. •Assist media outlets in obtaining various video content by filling requests for footage. •Archive all game contests, highlights and related content. •Maintain complete and effective working knowledge of services and platforms provided by Sidearm, the department’s current host of GoRacers.com. •Assist in maintaining and updating GoRacers.com •Responsible for creating video content for MSU Hall of Champions. •Coordinate and collaborate with MSU’s marketing and branding office. •Adhere to all NCAA, OVC and University rules and regulations. •Responsible for creating all no-athletic related content required for athletic digital media, television and radio broadcasts. •Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics. •As a member of the Murray State University Athletic Department, you shall comply with all applicable NCAA rules and regulations as provided in the NCAA Division I Manual. If you are found in violation of NCAA regulations, you shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for significant repetitive violations.

•1-2 years of web-stream, or media and/or broadcasting production experience. •Must have experience or ability to quickly grasp knowledge for the following equipment: Tri-Caster, Adobe video editing software, digital video cameras, and microphones.
