The University of South Alabama is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is a full time, twelve-month position.
This position will assist the Director of Strength & Conditioning General Athletics in all facets of a NCAA FBS Division I program. Duties will include the development and implementation of Sun Belt Conference Track&Field/Cross Country and Women's Volleyball strength and conditioning programs, and other sports as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning - General Athletics.
Preferences to apply for this position are as follows: USAW certification, work related experience to include encompassing all genders of intercollegiate athletic programming, educating student-athletes and coaches on nutrition and supplements with the health care administrator, and other duties as assigned.
Applicants who possess knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; have strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to relate and communicate with coaches, staff, and student-athletes will be given preference.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution as approved by the University of South Alabama
Minimum of one year of experience in strength and conditioning at the intercollegiate level: development, implementation and coaching with strength program compliance.
Certification by either: CSCS or SCCC. (current & valid)
Knowledge of NCAA/Sun Belt Conference rules and guidelines
Proficient in Microsoft office.
