Ottawa University, Kansas (NAIA) currently seeks qualified candidates to fill its open Graduate Assistant Volleyball coaching position for Fall 2019.
The selected candidates will be granted tuition waiver (18 credit hours per year) for one of Ottawa University’s graduate programs, a partial meal allowance and a bi-weekly living stipend (renewable for a second year as qualified).
The successful coaching candidate will assist the head coach in various aspects of the program with responsibilities including coaching, practice organization and implementation, conditioning supervision, event management responsibilities, transportation, recruitment, equipment control and inventory, and academic monitoring and mentoring. Junior Varsity program leadership and coaching will be assigned. Bachelor’s Degree is Required. Evidence of extensive specific sport experience (playing and/or coaching) is required. All qualified applicants should be fully dedicated to instilling the NAIA Champions of Character values into their coaching style and expectations of players both on and off the field.
