Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Head Coach for the Women's Lacrosse Program. Gannon's athletic program includes 20 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. The women's lacrosse program competes in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Association (PSAC). Responsibilities include oversight of coaching, managing and directing all aspects of the University's competitive, NCAA Division II, intercollegiate women's lacrosse program. Supervises a full-time/12-month assistant coach. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a valid driver's license. Successful candidates must have at least three years of women's lacrosse coaching experience at the collegiate level and/or collegiate playing experience; knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations; demonstrated ability to effectively recruit prospective national and international student-athletes, to a highly selective university; excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion and flexibility.
