The Head Softball Coach at Cameron University, an NCAA Division II institution in the Lone Star Conference is a highly responsible and demanding position. The university has a winning tradition in athletics and is strongly supported by the local community. Coaching duties will be performed under the general supervision of the Athletic Director or other administrative superior. The Head Softball Coach will be responsible for the development and implementation of a high-quality collegiate athletic program which conforms to NCAA and University rules, regulations, and policies. Duties include, but are not limited to: on-field coaching during practices and games, recruiting quality student athletes, administers scholarship program, develops schedules, manages budget, fund-raising, field maintenance and improvement, assures the academic success of the student athletes, manages professional staff, and other duties as assigned.
High School or above softball coaching experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Displays organizational and management ability.
Positive attitude with a Team Player mentality.
Successful Head or Assistant College Softball Coaching expierience.
