The Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation located in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for an Assistant Ticket Office Manager to join our team.
This position will perform the following duties:
In cooperation with the Director of Ticket Operations and Assistant Director of Ticket Operations, supervises the overall operation of the Athletic Ticket Office by working with AudienceView computer ticketing system to assist with order entry (phone and walk up sales) and customer inquiries regarding tickets and donation accounts
Responsible for maintaining events and build reporting in ticketing software
Manage game day Ticket Office for Volleyball and Wrestling
Supervises game day part-time staff and is responsible for the hiring, mentoring, training, scheduling, daily communication etc.
Assist in managing the Ticket Office as needed in support of AFAAC outside activities (concerts, NHL Winter Classic, etc).
Be a champion of the AudienceView ticket platform and train and/or assist other AFAAC users in using the platform to the best of their abilities
Other duties as assigned
Consistently conduct business in a professional manner, including dress and manner of speaking/writing when dealing with fans, donors, alumni, and students. Use time management skills to complete work assignments and meet deadlines before busy sales times and/or game days. Attend community events as needed with the marketing and sales staff to promote Air Force Academy Athletics.
Bachelor’s degree in sport marketing, administration, management or a related field is required.
At least two years of experience in collegiate or professional ticket office
AudienceView or other ticket software experience
Team player that works cooperatively and collaboratively with other business units.
Experience supervising, mentoring and providing direction to others.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, verbal, writing, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays depending on work and game schedules.
Strong time management, ability to stay focused through interruptions, thrives in team environment, strong analytic and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work as part of a team and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
Understands and upholds standards befitting the USAFA and Air Force Athletic Department.
Must be authorized to work in the US and successfully pass a background check. Random drug test is required.
