The Ticket Operations Intern will assist the Director of Ticket Operations with management of box office functions including customer service, sales, event management, and vendor relations. Intern will be educated on standards necessary to successfully support and manage a Division I Collegiate Athletics ticket office for various sports. Assist with scheduling, training, and supervision of ticket office and event staff. Serve as the ticket operations contact for assigned events. Review or perform balancing, depositing, and reporting of daily ticket office cash and receipts. Exercise high level of guest service practices by assisting current and potential customers with questions and quality service. Ensure completion of Ticket Office procedures including invoice processing, order follow-up, maintaining accurate records, payroll processing, and cash-handling. Manage the ticket office email account. Comply with all NCAA and Ivy League Rules and Regulations. Perform other duties and projects as deemed necessary.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment. • Sound organizational skills and attention to details. • Excellent customer service inquiries and ability to handle conflict. • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees and vendors. • Strong computer abilities. • Proficient with Microsoft Office. • Ability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Experience: • Previous experience in ticket operations and/or in a collegiate athletics environment. Education • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
