Direct oversight for all athletic development activities including responsibility for sports specific affinity clubs (6th Man, Side-out, Goal Line). Participate as a peer member of Athletics operational/marketing team. Responsible for setting revenue and bottom line goals for Athletics development. Regular, ongoing reporting of status toward achievement of budgeted metrics. Close working relationship and interaction with NM State Alumni Association. Coordinate with sponsorship sales director to determine key contact responsibilities to avoid conflict with multiple and conflicting presentations and offers. Ensure appropriate stewardship of all donations to Athletics. Focus development among former NM State athletes and coaches, including establishment of comprehensive database. Advise Athletics Director and staff regarding technical, legal and financial requirements associated with fundraising and giving. Recruit, train, retain, lead, and evaluate direct-report development staff in support of Athletics.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Three (3) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
Equivalency of CFRE Certification may be considered as 1.5 years towards experience necessary for position
