Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director for Video Production, the Director of Live Video Production/Broadcast Engineer will work individually and as part of a team to execute the production of Temple Athletics broadcasts for ESPN+ and for in-venue video boards at the Liacouras Center, McGonigle Hall, and the Temple Sports Complex. The Director of Live Video Production/Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of Temple Athletics’ Video Production department, including the recruitment and training of a staff consisting of full-time employees, student interns, and graduate externs in those efforts. Further duties include, but are not limited to: directing, technical directing, and operation of replay and graphics machines during live productions; overseeing the maintenance of all broadcast equipment; recommending new broadcast equipment as needed; fulfilling media, institution and internal requests for footage; and coordinating video archives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Produce broadcasts for ESPN+ and for in-venue video boards at the Liacouras Center, McGonigle Hall, and the Temple Sports Complex.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of four years’ experience working in live sports video production at the collegiate or professional level in a leadership capacity, with experience in ESPN’s broadcast standards strongly preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to execute a live control room production, with a demonstrated proficiency in directing, technical directing, and operation of replay and graphics machines.
Experience in a managerial or leadership role training and directing students and/or graduate externs in live production practices.
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.
Ability to manage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and University rules.
