Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $51,350 to $64,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Associate AD for Student Services and Sport Administration/Senior Administrator, the Assistant Director, Talent Development will assist with the development, maintenance and enhancement a comprehensive program of talent recruiting, professional training & development, retention and career development for the athletics division.
The Assistant Director will collaborate with the senior leadership team to create an environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork and mutual collaboration. Will also assist with the design, development and implementation of various programs building the Athletics Staff team building activities and employee recognition programs.
The Assistant Director will assist with advancing onboarding activities and targeted training programs for athletics staff and coaches – to help build specific skills, knowledge and competencies; will also assist with the development of new systems, strategies and policies to increase employee effectiveness and retention.

Ideal candidates will possess demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication; have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of relationships and situations; a strong sense of service; strong organizational skills; and the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and deadlines. In addition, the ideal candidate will have the ability to foster respectful communication and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred • 2 – 4 Years of full time work experience in a professional office or Collegiate Athletics Department. • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products. • Ability to meet deadlines • Effective oral and written communication, familiarity with computers, knowledge of computer software, ability to work independently and very good organizational skills.
Night and weekend work required.
