The University of New Mexico's Athletics Marketing Department seeks an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Revenue Generation for Men's Basketball to oversee and execute every aspect with regards to marketing, promotions, ticket revenue generation and gameday experience for our Mountain West Conference men's basketball program at Dreamstyle Arena - the Pit.
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Reporting to the Associate AD for Marketing and Communications, oversee all aspects of marketing, promotions and revenue generation for the UNM men's basketball program, executing the creation and implementation of marketing plans and gameday 'run of show' for men's basketball with an aggressive focus on improving attendance and revenue as well as the gameday experience for Lobo fans.
Oversees the creation and execution of the marketing plan and gameday run of show for Lobo women's soccer.
Creates scripts and 'run of show' for game day operations for men's basketball and soccer. Plays a role in the creation of scripts for other sports.
Assists in overseeing marketing budget and maintaining media contracts for the UNM Athletics marketing department.
Serves as UNM Athletics marketing liaison to the university.
Assists with designing and implementing marketing collateral, working with the Associate Athletic Director and Director of Social Media/Ideation on the overall brand for UNM Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Advanced degree in related field
Experience with design software (Photoshop) preferred, and video editing experience is a plus but not required.
Demonstrated public speaking skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of colleagues, co-workers, and constituents
