UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and American Athletic Conference (The American) member, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Director, Business and Finance.
Under the leadership of the Executive Associate A.D. / CFO and the Assistant / Associate A.D., Business and Finance, the selected candidate assists in the management and coordination of the Athletics Business Office within UCF, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: development and entry of purchase requisitions and travel advances for assigned departments; preparation and recording of billing invoices and performing collection efforts; processing of Nike invoices, returns, and credits; tracking, recording and reporting of donations and matching gifts; maintenance of FMV charts for clubs / fundraisers; processing / reconciliation of travel expenses for assigned departments; and monitoring / analysis of budgets as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience. Prefer previous business office / bookkeeping experience, including: computer (Microsoft Office); organizational and interpersonal skills; and attention to detail. Note: the person selected for this position will be employed by UCF Athletics, which is a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of the University of Central Florida.
