Brown University invites applications for the position of Manager, Athletics Multimedia & Production. This position is responsible for producing live content, which airs on ESPN+, for home events in a variety of sports and facilities, video scoreboards & special video projects and managing all department video and multimedia efforts (excluding coaches’ film). The position will collaborate in providing coordination and implementation of technology, video, audio, and HD internet video for Brown Athletics. This position is also responsible for ensuring that all Brown athletic facilities and video control rooms have the necessary equipment in order to fulfill the video streaming needs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, planning, assisting in the budgeting process, and in developing and implementing the goals and objectives of the Athletic Department as it relates to video and multimedia applications and services.
All department employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League and ECAC rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the department are to be reported to the appropriate parties. Employees in coaching positions are required to maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Athletic Department).

Bachelor’s Degree, required; preferably in a video production or multimedia related field.
2-4 years of experience in video production and advance media experience required.
Experience producing live events for linear TV, preferred.
Experience producing sporting events, preferred.
Experience in intercollegiate athletics, preferred.
Strong knowledge of and demonstrated interest in video production and graphic design.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & computer skills, necessary.
Strategic, innovative and creative thinker as well as a self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to work with and relate well to students.
Strong work ethic, passion for the profession and commitment to student-athletes.
Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
Proficiency of video editing and design software required.
Knowledge of video cameras and supporting video equipment.
The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background and DMV checks satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
