Working Title: Assistant Athletic Director/Compliance
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is a Division I FCS institution and a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, invites applications for the position of Athletics Compliance Coordinator. Responsibilities include: Evaluating the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s efforts to maintain institutional control of the athletic program, making appropriate recommendations to the Athletic Director in regards to NCAA Governance matters, as well as NCAA, Southwestern Athletic Conference and Institutional Polices and Legislation.
Individual will serve as the liaison for all eligibility functions & processes including the day to day operations of Compliance department and Financial Aid. Maintains utilization and operation of the institutional compliance software system in an effort to ensure that all coaches, staff and administrators are up-to-date on how to operate the systems and properly monitor functional usage to review official/unofficial visits, CARA, complimentary tickets, recruiting activity, playing and practice logs, NLIs, declaration of playing seasons, and roster management.
Individual will serve as an athletics department liaison for: University Athletic Compliance Committee, NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative, the Office of Recruitment, the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or related field and experience in Compliance or Academics. A Master’s degree or senior level management experience in intercollegiate athletics the Division-I level are preferred.
