HEAD WOMEN’S LACROSSE COACH- Missouri Western State University invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. Missouri Western is a successful member of NCAA Division II and recently announced the addition of women’s lacrosse as the University’s 17th intercollegiate sport. The women’s lacrosse program will begin competition in spring 2021. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of building the new women’s lacrosse program, including a high emphasis on the recruitment of quality student-athletes for the 2020-21 academic year, the academic success of women’s lacrosse student-athletes, game preparation and strategy, supervision of an assistant coach and graduate assistant, scheduling the inaugural season of competition, enhancing public relations, organizing camps and clinics, fund-raising, budget, adherence to NCAA rules and regulations, and other general administrative duties. In addition, the Head Coach will be responsible for supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of both the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and significant coaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Master’s degree, successful coaching experience at the collegiate level, prior experience in recruiting, fiscal management skills, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
