Concord University is seeking a head football coach to lead its NCAA II program. This is a full-time, benefits eligible 11-month position.
The head coach will be responsible for the positive development of all aspects of a NCAA Division II football program. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop a competitive football program, recruit quality student athletes of good character, be committed to student athlete academic success, and have excellent communication, budgetary, and organizational skills. Strict adherence to NCAA Division II and MEC rules are required. This position will report to the Director of Athletics.
A master’s degree is preferred.
Five to ten years of progressively responsible collegiate coaching experience desired.
Coaching experience on the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability in recruiting and motivating quality student athletes. Excellent communication, management and organizational skills. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as the demonstrated ability to adhere to such regulations. Basic computer skills.
