Post Grad Intern - Bulldog Productions Associate (Video Production & Creative Services)
The University of Minnesota Duluth Intercollegiate Athletics program has one opening available for Bulldog Productions Associate (Video Production & Creative Services) beginning on or about January 1, 2020. Home to ten national championship teams since 2000 (including the 2018 & 2019 NCAA Men’s Hockey Division I Championship), the University of Minnesota Duluth reigns as one of the most well-balanced and competitive programs in the Upper Midwest. The UMD Bulldogs are a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and belongs to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) in 14 sports (NCAA Division II), in addition the men's and women's ice hockey programs participate in NCAA Division I and are aligned with the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) respectively.
Bulldog Productions Associate (Video Production & Creative Services): $18,000 per year.
You will be supervised by the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Corporate Relations who will mentor this internship and receive hands on learning experiences with: 1. Creation of graphics for in-venue video boards, season tickets, & game day promotions. 2. Creation of motion graphics for in-venue video boards and social media. 3. Production of highlight videos, intro videos, in-game video board elements, and fundraising videos. 4. Production of sponsored elements for in-game video board use. 5. Filming and editing with green screen. 6. Video board operations and broadcast oversight. 7. Manage web broadcasts and student workers. 8. Must be able to work with deadlines. 9. Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressed environment.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Video Production, Communications, Marketing, Business or similar
Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of or experience in sports marketing, video production, video editing, video shooting, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and production software. Previous internship experience. Strong proficiency with creating finished graphics and video for print, in-game video boards, social media, digital, and web.
You will have an initial period of observation, followed by supervision and daily reviews on needed basis.
