The Assistant Football Coach's primary duty is providing coaching assistance to the Head Coach during training and competitions for the University of Oregon’s football program. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree. • Seven years of combined Division I/NFL, playing/coaching experience; OR five years of experience as an NCAA football head coach. • The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Professional Competencies • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications • Power 5 Football Conference experience. • Offensive coordinator experience at the FBS level. • Master’s degree. • Recruiting experience.
