Le Moyne College, a Jesuit institution in Syracuse, New York, invites applications for the position of Director of Athletics. Reporting to the President, Dr. Linda Le Mura, the Director of Athletics oversees the Le Moyne’s 21 athletic teams and a vast club sport and intramural program. Building upon Le Moyne College's rich athletic history, including seven National Championships in recent years, the next Athletic Director is expected to help usher in the next generation of athletics on campus with a long-term vision. The Director of Athletics will be responsible for building and maintaining a culture of excellence that is focused on the success of the scholar-athlete. Le Moyne participates in the NCAA at the Division II level and is a member of the Northeast-10 athletic conference.
Candidates should possess the following desired qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s or advanced degree preferred; a minimum of five (5) years working in intercollegiate athletics, preferably in a supervisory role; strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated understanding, experience, and commitment to creating diversity and inclusion at all levels; integrity, honesty, and commitment to lead ethically, and budgetary experience.
