LONG BEACH STATE ATHLETICS seeks applications for the position of Coordinator of Women's Volleyball Operations. Under the direct supervision of the Head Women's Volleyball Coach, the Coordinator of Women's Volleyball Operations provides administrative support to the Women's Volleyball program. This position coordinates all administrative functions of the Women's Volleyball program including but not limited too, all aspects of team travel (e.g., flight, bus, hotel, meals, transportation, practice facilities, per diem expenditures etc.). The incumbent acts as liaison between women's volleyball and Athletic administrative areas. Assists with social media account for women's volleyball. Coordinates video edits, scouts, uploads game film and other related duties.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work cooperatively with coaches, staff, faculty, students, and members of the community. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and project a professional attitude. Knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures. Knowledge of NCAA Division I women's volleyball operations. Ability to learn the tape exchange program. Knowledge of MC/MAC computer operations and Excel, Word and Powerpoint software.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Previous collegiate volleyball experience desired. NCAA Division 1 volleyball experience preferred.
The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 Revised July 21, 2017 as a condition of employment.
