The District Athletic Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all of Coram Deo’s Academy's campuses athletic and physical fitness programs and activities in accordance with District policies and guidance from President.
Position Objective: Supervise Campus Athletic Directors as well as work with coaches, faculty, and staff to help CDA accomplish its mission of training ethical servant leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God. Use leadership, supervisory, and teaching skills to promote the development of the Athletic program and individual student-athletes in order to glorify God through the pursuit of excellence in athletics.
A minimum of 5 years of coaching or Athletic Administration experience required, Head Coaching experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning methods.
Relational skills to successfully manage conflict resolution in a Biblical manner.
Ability and willingness to train and develop full and part time coaches.
A valid First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross, including CPR training (or the ability to acquire).
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership and facilitative skills.
CDL License is preferred, training will be provided if required.
First-hand knowledge of Christian, classical, & collaborative educational model preferred, as well as knowledge of University Model schools.
