Newcastle University is seeking to recruit players for their men’s and women’s tennis teams for the coming 2020/21 academic year. We have a well-developed tennis programme that is always looking to expand and push for both promotion and continued national success.
As well as gaining a world class degree, successful candidates will have the opportunity to play in the BUCS national leagues as well as the opportunity to take part in regional tournaments. Level 5 Master Performance Coach John Henderson leads a highly challenging and supportive program which has most recently led to back to back promotions for the men’s 1st team. Both the men’s and ladies 1st teams now sit in tier 1 of the BUCS Leagues looking to push for promotion into the national premier league.
It’s an exciting opportunity to continue developing as a performance tennis player while also gaining a world class degree and travelling within the UK and Europe. There are bursary scholarships and 40% fee reduction scholarships available for the successful candidates. NCAA or NAIA playing experience
Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
