Regis University’s Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant position in its Sports Information office. The graduate assistant will provide essential support services for a 12 sport NCAA Division II athletic department.
The position will report directly to the Sports Information Director and will perform tasks as assigned, including but not limited to:
Design and produce game-day/matchup graphics for home and away events;
Design and produce post-game graphics for home and away events;
Capture video of coaches interviews for game highlights;
Create sport specific schedule posters;
Handle daily graphic design requests;
Take photos at home events;
Operate and distribute content through social media;
Assist with the Ranger Round-Up
Serve as a contact for our ScoreVision videoboards/scoreboards
Other duties may include creating videos for the sports while assisting in scheduling and capturing/recording highlights for intro and hype videos throughout the year.

Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a Regis University graduate program. Must have proven written and oral communications skills. Candidates will have experience in all Adobe Creative Cloud applications, more specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc. Nights and weekend hours required along with occasional travel. Start date is flexible, but recommended no later than August 1, 2020.
Consideration for the position is contingent upon successful admission to a Regis University’s master’s program. Interested candidates are encouraged to begin the admissions application immediately. Prior experience with Photoshop and InDesign, as well as prior experience in a college sports information setting, is highly preferred.
Additional Salary Information: The graduate assistant position is a two or three year assignment during the 2020-2021 academic year. The graduate assistant will receive $15,000 in the form of a scholarship to cover tuition, fees, and some living expenses.
