Liberty University, a Division I Swimming & Diving member of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) and the Big South Conference, is seeking a Diving Coach. This is a full-time, 12 month position to begin as soon as the position is filled. Liberty seeks a coach who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Christian faith and to the mission and values of Liberty University. The candidate must also possess a strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes by adherence to department and University academic policies and will also be expected to conduct the program within the guidelines of the University and the CCSA. In addition to a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA, the successful candidate must also possess an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of organizing, directing, and administering a diving program, including but not limited to: recruiting, skill/technique instruction, and other program related administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach. A Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. A successful history of coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level. Platform coaching experience preferred. The individual must have the ability to effectively communicate, direct, and develop collegiate female student-athletes.
