Description: Keiser University is currently accepting applications for multiple Graduate Assistant Strength Coach positions. This is a 10-month, part-time position. The Graduate Assistant Strength Coach will be responsible to the Director of Sports Medicine and will assist in all aspects of the Sports Medicine Department.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will assist the Strength staff with the strength and conditioning programs of 27 NAIA athletic teams. The Head Strength Coach will assign specific team assignments based on experience and department needs. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Athlete performance assessments. •Injury prevention and program design. •Facilitate functional warm-up programs for assigned teams. •Management and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the weight rooms. •Ensure proper maintenance of exercise equipment. •Work cooperatively with all staff members, including coaches, athletic trainers, sports information staff, and compliance personnel. •Maintain knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations. •Perform responsibilities during game day operations as needed.
