“I thoroughly loved my time on the team and in Cambridge. It was one of the best experiences I have had, very different, but very rewarding and well spent. The volleyball program as a whole is very close-knit, with both the men and women teams spending much time together supporting each other on the court as well as having many social events. They are all very welcoming and will be supportive of what you need. Jean, as well as the athletic directors at ARU, are also great people to be associated with. Their staff will accommodate you with any needs that you may have athletically or academically, and they will also lead you in the right direction if what you need is out of their realm.
Living in Cambridge is FUN because it is small enough to walk everywhere, and is a usually busy place. There are people from all over the world in this little city and if you look for them, there are many cultural experiences, as well as college experiences. I loved living in Cambridge because it was fairly close to London, and I would take many trips either to London, or the airport for a weekend getaway somewhere in Europe because it is affordable!”
