This position will oversee the direction of the Men's and Women's Varsity Cross Country and Track & Field programs at the NCAA Division II level. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment, scheduling, practice/ event preparation, competition coaching duties, budget management, fund raising and promotion. The coach will assist the Athletic Director in a leadership role to enhance the internal and external visibility and recognition of the Michigan Tech Cross Country and Track & Field programs. The coach will also teach activity courses in the Department of Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology.
Requires a bachelor’s degree and cross country and track & field coaching experience. Competition experience at the NCAA or comparable level is also required.
