The Head Coach is responsible for the overall organization, direction, supervision and administration of Mansfield University's NCAA Division II Track & Field Program. Duties include: recruiting student athletes within the rules and philosophy of the NCAA, PSAC and Mansfield University; evaluating student-athlete talent â“ both academically and athletically; emphasizing academic priorities to student athletes; organizing/conducting all practices; providing appropriate strategy for competitive success; providing direction/assignments to assistant coaches; related administrative tasks; fundraising; and maintaining appropriate communication with students, other coaches, university staff, parents, alumni and the media.

Minimum Experience and Training:
Bachelor's Degree and previous collegiate track & field coaching experience. Must also possess a valid driver's license.
Master's degree and five years of collegiate track & field coaching experience.
Experience coaching sprints and horizontal jumps.
