The Assistant Wrestling Coach instructs the App State wrestling team with the fundamentals and skills necessary for a successful program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Duties assigned by the head coach. - Administering all phases of a Division I Wrestling Program, including recruitment and retention of student-athletes, ensuring academic integrity, fostering alumni and community relations, coaching practice and game-day. - Help build the camp numbers as a means to raise money for the Wrestling Program. - Demonstrate commitment to all rules and regulations of Appalachian State University, the Southern Conference and the NCAA.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. At least one year of College coaching and recruiting experience preferred
