As a critical role with Georgia Tech Athletics, the financial manager is expected to be responsible for completing a variety of medium to highly complex accounting duties for a 501(c)(3) organization that incurs over $80 million in expenses annually and supporting senior management with timely financial analysis and reporting. The organizational environment within which the job functions will generally be characterized as moderate to extensive in terms of scope. Responsibilities include overseeing general accounting functions, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and internal and external reporting. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit general and/or senior financial management, faculty, and staff; Institute-wide financial management. This position will advise and counsel: unit management.
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
